Serves
2-4
Ingredients
- 8-10 drumsticks or bone in thighs (or 2 lbs of wings, cut into flats and drumsticks)
- 1/4 cup olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Frank’s RedHot sauce for basting
Steps
1
Directions: Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
2
To make the marinade, combine the following in a zip-lock bag:
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
3
If doing wings (Kimberly’s style) cut the wings into flats and drumsticks and add chicken to marinade, seal tight, and shake until well covered!
4
For best results, bake on a wire rack over a cookie sheet so air can circulate around the chicken.
5
Bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour and 10-15 minutes until crispy.
6
Take out chicken and toss/drizzle/bast in hot sauce and return to oven for another 10 minutes.
7
Plate the meal attractively, garnish as desired, and serve it hot. Enjoy your delicious homemade meal, and share it with family or friends if desired.
